Non-Complex Statistics-Driven Algorithm for Enhancement of Grayscale and Color Images

Low-contrast images are viewed with obscured details and unfavorable to the observer. Hence, it is a necessity process such an effect efficiently get lucid as need for clear become global demand. Therefore, statistics-based algorithm of simple complexity introduced in this research color grayscale low contrast. The proposed consists five stages, where first second stages include use two different statistical s-curve transformations, third stage combines outputs aforesaid stage, fourth improves brightness, fifth reallocates pixels natural interval. compared six modern algorithms, evaluated using no-reference methods. obtained results show that performed best, providing highest image evaluation readings was fastest among comparison
